About the Company

Foundation is developing the future of general purpose robotics with the goal to address the labor shortage. Our mission is to create advanced robots that can operate in complex environments, reducing human risk in conflict zones and enhancing efficiency in labor-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

• Command the narrative and share Foundation’s momentum and technical depth
• Tell the Foundation story in one cohesive consistent cadence
• Capture and build emotional connection with the audience, including the failures behind the wins
• Oversee cohesive brand storytelling across aesthetics, interfaces, gestures, environments, media, and customer support ecosystems
• Design the story that builds on the Foundation brand
• Define the narrative to make mainstream and find new proof points to reinforce it
• Partner with AI, robotics, hardware, and software teams to co-create intuitive narratives
• Balance content virality with deeper technical narratives (VLA, navigation, mocap, MkII)
• Refine narratives aimed at the SF technical crowd, investors, and talent while branching out to mainstream

Requirements

• Senior 0-1 comms builder who has stood up a company narrative and brand from scratch
• Deep tech background with experience during 3X growth phases
• Proven track record of driving a technology narrative
• Outstanding communication, storytelling, and presentation abilities
• Expert storyteller obsessed with applying narrative across multiple mediums
• Ability to drive and design own objectives, strategy, and deliverables
• Passion for storytelling that is intuitive and emotionally engaging
