Head of Commercial Excellence

Responsibilities

• Shape the go-to-market model based on market maturity, business needs, and portfolio priorities
• Coordinate and streamline commercial systems while enhancing local processes for better execution
• Build a customer-centric agenda to support stronger Joint Business Planning and understanding of customer needs
• Leverage shopper insights to translate needs into actionable customer and category plans
• Provide strategic oversight for shopper marketing initiatives, including retail marketing and promotional campaigns
• Ensure consistent brand positioning across all customer touchpoints
• Develop channel-specific commercial strategies and optimize product mix, pricing, and promotions
• Build and maintain shopper marketing dashboards and commercial analytics to support decision-making
• Lead the regional Net Revenue Management agenda, focusing on pricing, trade terms, and portfolio management

Requirements

• University degree; an MBA is preferred
• At least 10 years of experience in companies with a proven multichannel, customer-centric approach
• Experience managing global or regional retailers
• Proven experience working within cross-functional teams (Sales and Category Marketing)
• Strong understanding of shopper behavior and category management
• Experience in channel strategy development
• Strong people leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
