About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define the global collections strategy across all receivable collection flows to optimize cash-collection targets, DSO, and aging metrics.
  • Develop and scale a global operating model utilizing both in-house collections and external Debt Collection Agencies (DCAs).
  • Drive a digital, data-led approach by implementing automated dunning, predictive models, and AI-based scoring.
  • Lead the roadmap for collections technology, including CRM/Collections systems, workflow engines, and automation tools.
  • Partner with senior finance, commercial, and legal leaders to align collections policies with business growth and risk appetite.
  • Build, mentor, and develop a diverse global team of collections managers, analysts, and specialists.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in Collections within a global business environment.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a significant leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of OTA (Online Travel Agency) or marketplace business models, including agency, merchant, and prepaid flows.
  • Proven track record of improving DSO and managing high-transaction-volume environments.
  • Experience managing multi-regional teams and third-party BPO partners.
  • Solid understanding of accounting, billing systems, payment reconciliation, and risk frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-velocity industries such as travel, fintech, e-commerce, or logistics.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM/collections platforms (e.g., High-Radius, Collection Hub, D365, or Salesforce).
  • Proficiency with data-visualization tools and automated workflow engines.
