Head of CISO Execution & Oversight

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between business, technology, and security functions to ensure information confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Execute risk assessments to identify and prioritize cybersecurity threats and guide the implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with business units to develop and implement security policies and procedures aligned with the risk management framework.
• Manage the implementation, testing, and monitoring of security controls across IT systems to ensure effectiveness.
• Oversee the management of complex cybersecurity incidents by collaborating with IT teams and response experts.
• Identify emerging cybersecurity trends and advocate for the adoption of new security solutions and technologies.
• Provide expert advice to senior functional management and committees to influence strategic decisions.
• Lead and manage large teams or complex organization-wide projects, fostering a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Proven experience in risk assessment execution and security control monitoring.
• Strong expertise in security policy development and cybersecurity incident management.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic project planning and managing complex business functions.
• Advanced analytical skills to solve problems and design solutions in sensitive or complex situations.
• Ability to manage resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for significant sub-functions.
