About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead operational management of a 300,000 SF K-12 flagship campus in the South Bronx
- Cultivate a campus atmosphere that embodies school values and fosters community pride
- Design and implement comprehensive safety, security, and emergency preparedness protocols
- Oversee campus maintenance, aesthetic excellence, and custodial operations
- Manage facilities scheduling, event logistics, and student transportation/logistics
- Coordinate with food service providers to ensure high-quality nutritional programs
- Lead and empower a high-performing team of security, custodial, and support personnel
- Develop and manage the operational budget and strategic resource allocation
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading and managing complex operational functions
- Proven track record of managing executive stakeholders (C-suite, principals, etc.)
- Extensive experience with budget management and financial analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week at the Bronx campus
- Availability to work weekends and respond to emergent situations in off-hours
