About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the vision and strategy for the Business Value Services (BVS) organization.
  • Create and improve value-selling resources, including value frameworks, playbooks, discovery tools, and ROI/TCO models.
  • Partner with Sales, Presales, Customer Success, and Enablement to operationalize value-based assets.
  • Train the GTM organization on value-selling best practices to drive revenue and customer retention.
  • Lead pre- and post-sale value-based discovery sessions and executive readouts for strategic opportunities.
  • Build sophisticated financial models to quantify the business value created by Sigma investments.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on strategic deals, providing thought leadership and C-suite facing deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Product and Product Marketing to share customer insights and inform the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in consultative, strategic, and analytical customer-facing roles (e.g., Value Engineering, Management Consulting).
  • Proven experience in a high-growth B2B SaaS startup environment.
  • Experience working with production business intelligence solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving revenue and growth metrics.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, storytelling, and communication skills.
  • Strong executive presence with a track record of advising C-suite executives.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for client engagements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree.
  • Experience executing complex enterprise software sales engagements.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC/MEDDIC or Force Management.
