Head of Business Development

Responsibilities

• Present and promote business loan and SCF products to distributors and corporates
• Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals
• Conduct needs assessments to understand client financing requirements
• Customize financial solutions including term loans, lines of credit, and equipment financing
• Collaborate with internal and 3rd party lending partners to develop customized solutions
• Prepare and present loan proposals, terms, and repayment schedules
• Negotiate loan terms and conditions to achieve mutually acceptable agreements
• Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business and referrals
• Manage customer contracts from engagement through to relationship management and renewal
• Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience working with distributors and stockists
• Proven experience in financial services sales, specifically supply chain finance or business loans
• Strong connections within FMCG distributors
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred
• Strong understanding of supply chain finance principles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proven ability to negotiate and close sales deals effectively
