Head of Benchmarks - Alpha Data Services, MD

Responsibilities

• Lead the management and commercialization of the Alpha Benchmark Service proposition and client oversight
• Develop a service model covering all use cases in the Alpha model, including delivering indexes/benchmarks to CRIMS, ADP, and external OMS
• Manage the strategic relationship with RIMES, including product roadmap development and commercial negotiations
• Partner with Alpha business development teams to articulate practice capabilities and support client conversions
• Lead discussions with Alpha Index Hub Product to set development agendas and budgets
• Oversee the deployment of AI opportunities to benefit clients and Alpha servicing teams
• Collaborate with the broader State Street organization to provide bespoke solutions for new client requirements

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in data management, product, or market data roles
• Deep expertise in the Index and Benchmark domain, including complex front-office use cases
• Extensive experience with financial services data domains such as Security Reference Master, Positions, Transactions, and Performance
• Proven experience in Front, Middle, and Back Office services
• Demonstrated success in Practice or Product management
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud platforms and Snowflake
• University degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or a related financial services technical field
