About the role

Responsibilities

Support the Safety & Compliance Manager in implementing and maintaining the aviation safety management system (SMS) in accordance with EASA Part-ADR.OR
Monitor and analyze aviation safety regulations and standards from ICAO, EASA, and HCAA
Facilitate the development and implementation of aviation safety policies and procedures
Provide leadership and coordination of operational safety activities within airside areas
Establish processes for hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation
Oversee the occurrence reporting system, including investigations and root cause analysis
Participate in safety assessments for operational changes and infrastructure developments
Support the delivery of aviation safety training and awareness programs
Prepare safety reports, performance metrics, and presentations for management review
Conduct safety assurance activities including audits, inspections, and operational reviews
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on aviation safety matters

Requirements

University degree in aviation, safety management, or a relevant discipline
Minimum of 7 years of experience in an aviation environment or airside operations
Proven leadership and project management skills
Experience conducting investigations into health and safety incidents
Strong knowledge of EASA, ICAO, and national aviation safety regulations
Experience with Safety Management Systems (SMS)
Excellent English language skills (oral and written)
