Head of Automation Engineering

About the Company

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead end-to-end AI automation capability and multi-agent workflows
• Configure and manage cloud-based AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) and self-hosted open-source models (Llama, Mistral, Qwen)
• Design orchestration layers connecting AI services to internal systems and data sources
• Implement RAG architectures to ground model outputs in company data
• Manage AI cost models, tracking spend and enforcing budget guardrails
• Build and lead a high-calibre automation engineering team from the ground up
• Establish engineering standards for code quality, agent design, and testing

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure roles
• 3+ years focused on AI/ML systems in a production environment
• Prior experience in a technical leadership or principal engineer capacity

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in iGaming, fintech, or regulated data-intensive industries
• Familiarity with compliance automation (AML, regulatory reporting)
• Experience working across group or holding company structures
• Contributions to open-source AI projects
