Speak is building a human-level, AI-powered tutor that provides a conversation-first experience for language learners. With over $150m raised from investors like OpenAI and Accel, Speak is a leading AI company serving learners across 15+ languages globally.

Responsibilities

  • Set and execute the overall APAC go-to-market plan, defining regional priorities and revenue targets.
  • Manage and mentor local sales teams in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
  • Drive new logo acquisition among top-tier enterprises and manage account expansion.
  • Build robust outbound motions and refine inbound qualification and closing strategies.
  • Develop and document sales playbooks, including pitch decks and negotiation scripts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Finance teams.
  • Track and report on pipeline, forecast accuracy, and key regional initiatives to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of B2B Sales experience.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles overseeing APAC or multi-country teams.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding ARR targets in SaaS, L&D, or enterprise software.
  • Experience with CRM best practices, pipeline management, and forecasting.
  • Ability to build senior-level relationships and navigate complex enterprise buying cycles.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Korean or Japanese is highly valued.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
