About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish, lead, and manage the APAC HR Shared Services Centre to ensure efficient and standardized HR service delivery
  • Act as the operational owner for services including employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits, and HRIS management
  • Build and lead the HR Shared Services team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Design and implement centralized processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery frameworks
  • Oversee employee lifecycle events such as onboarding, benefits administration, and offboarding
  • Ensure data integrity within HR systems and generate KPI reports
  • Maintain compliance with local labor laws and HR policies across the APAC region
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to align priorities with organizational goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 10+ years of HR operations or shared service centre experience
  • 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing high-performing teams
  • Experience in global or regional HR operations and change management
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, specifically Workday and ServiceNow preferred
  • Knowledge of labor laws in APAC countries (e.g., Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Korea)
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken)
  • Mandarin or Cantonese speaking skills are an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office and exposure to process automation tools like Power Automate or RPA is a plus
