Head of Americas Global Banking Business Risk Management

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of the first-line non-financial risk and supervisory framework across AMER Global Banking
• Act as a primary point of contact for risk, supervision, and control matters, providing pragmatic, business-aligned advice
• Oversee key non-financial risk processes, including RCSAs, conflicts of interest, inducements registers, and remediation tracking
• Review and challenge risk and supervisory management information (MI), escalating material issues and conduct incidents
• Lead local regulatory and audit exams, representing the Global Banking Business Risk Management function
• Build strong relationships with senior management and control partners, presenting at relevant governance forums

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Global Banking Compliance, Business Risk Management, COO, or a related control role
• Deep understanding of non-financial risk and supervision within Global Banking, including information barriers and cross-border risks
• Proven people management experience or readiness to step into broader leadership responsibilities
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivots and lookups)
• Ability to produce clear, professional PowerPoint materials and communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Comfort using AI-enabled tools to support analysis and drafting
