Head of Air – Procurement & Distribution

Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the air procurement and distribution strategy
• Negotiate airline deals and drive margin improvement
• Manage strategic airline and distribution partnerships
• Oversee GDS, NDC, and API performance and integrations
• Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to enhance air capabilities
• Drive product integration across Ignite divisions
• Lead training, documentation, and compliance for air processes

Requirements

• Strong expertise in air procurement, airline contracts, and leisure travel distribution
• Proven negotiation skills with a track record of delivering commercial outcomes
• Solid knowledge of Amadeus systems, including Robotic processes, queue management, and Smartflows
• Proficiency with NDC and API technologies
• Ability to drive revenue, meet targets, and optimize performance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
