About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and steward the enterprise AI security architecture, including secure-by-default patterns for AI platforms, GenAI tooling, and data pipelines.
- Establish architecture standards, guardrails, and reference designs for AI systems across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Lead AI threat modeling practices to identify and mitigate risks such as model abuse, data poisoning, and prompt injection.
- Integrate AI security into DevSecOps pipelines by automating preventative, detective, and responsive controls.
- Serve as a technical advisor to the CISO, CIO, and senior engineering leaders regarding AI security posture and emerging risks.
- Build and lead a high-performing AI Security Architecture team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in security engineering, product security, or architecture roles.
- Proven experience securing AI/ML and GenAI systems, including governance and model risk.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and scaling secure cloud-native architectures within large, regulated environments.
- Experience leading global, multidisciplinary security or engineering teams.
- Strong background in regulatory compliance and communicating technical risk to executive stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant technical field.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or specialized cloud and AI security certifications.
- Experience embedding security into DevSecOps and automated software engineering workflows.
