Head of AI Infrastructure Markets

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the strategy for Galaxy's entry into AI infrastructure markets
• Originate transactions and build the counterparty network across AI labs, neoclouds, and data-center developers
• Design and structure bespoke instruments such as forwards, swaps, and options for AI infrastructure
• Develop pricing and risk frameworks for instruments with limited liquidity
• Build a credit and structured-lending capability for GPU fleets and data-center deployments
• Source liquidity and build exchange and OTC connectivity
• Build and lead a team across origination, trading, structuring, and credit

Requirements

• 8+ years building and running a markets business (trading, brokerage, or structured products)
• Working knowledge of the AI compute ecosystem and data-center development
• Deep fluency in flow commodities like power, freight, or bandwidth
• Demonstrated ability to price and manage risk in illiquid or nascent markets
• Credit and structured-lending judgment
• Quantitative fluency with ability to use Python for pricing models
• Institutional-grade execution and a process-driven approach to risk

Preferred Qualifications

• Power or energy trading background including ISO/RTO mechanics
• Experience in or alongside an AI business or cloud provider
• Experience financing or operating capital-intensive physical infrastructure
• Crypto-mining operations experience
• Prior experience launching new derivatives products
