Head of Accounting Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting Operations, Accounts Payable, and Payroll functions
• Own the operational delivery of monthly and quarterly close processes
• Prepare and deliver the Group's monthly management accounts
• Ensure balance sheet integrity and timely reconciliation resolution
• Drive development of Procure-to-Pay processes and automate AP/Payroll activities
• Develop scalable accounting processes for inventory and capital expenditure
• Design and implement financial controls and governance frameworks
• Oversee outsourced accounting providers for international entities
• Mentor and develop high-performing finance teams

Requirements

• Significant experience in Accounting Operations, Financial Operations, or Financial Control leadership
• Proven track record of scaling accounting functions in high-growth organizations
• Experience leading month-end close, Accounts Payable, and Payroll teams
• Experience working within international, multi-entity organizations
• Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial controls
• Experience operating ERP systems and driving process improvements
• Experience with inventory accounting or manufacturing environments is highly desirable
