Head of Accounting

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing to issue periodic financial statements according to Group timelines
• Perform audits and reconciliations of general ledger and sub-systems (revenue, customers, suppliers, fixed assets)
• Oversee and, if necessary, perform entry of accounting documents
• Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax returns (VAT, etc.)
• Perform reconciliation and audit of MyDATA
• Communicate with public authorities, auditors, and external consultants
• Actively participate in the implementation of new systems and applications

Requirements

• Degree in Economics or Accounting
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head of Accounting
• Good knowledge of Greek GAAP and IFRS
• Good knowledge of tax legislation
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written)
• Excellent proficiency in MS Office, specifically MS Excel
• Mandatory proficiency in SAP ERP

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate studies or relevant professional titles
