Head, North American Provisioning & Risk Analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead credit loss provisioning and forecasting activities for North American Retail and Business Banking portfolios
• Oversee credit loss estimation, recovery analytics, and model performance in alignment with macroeconomic conditions
• Lead scenario-based loss analytics, stress testing, and forward-looking assessments to inform risk insights
• Provide expert oversight of provisioning models, methodologies, assumptions, and controls to support regulatory expectations
• Drive standardization of provisioning approaches across Retail entities to support risk appetite management
• Partner with Finance, Risk, and business leaders to assess the credit loss impact of portfolio changes and operating decisions
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of risk and analytics professionals
• Foster a strong risk culture by promoting accountability, transparency, and constructive challenge

Requirements

• 9+ years of progressive experience in credit risk, provisioning, analytics, or related disciplines
• Post-secondary degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Deep expertise in credit loss provisioning frameworks and analytics (e.g., CECL, IFRS)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to operate effectively in complex, regulated environments
