Head Men’s Tennis Coach

Responsibilities

• Recruit quality student-athletes for the men's tennis program
• Develop and conduct organized practices and training sessions
• Create a competitive schedule of contests
• Manage and maintain the sport's budget
• Adhere to all NCAA Division III and conference rules and bylaws
• Coordinate fundraising opportunities for the program
• Counsel student-athletes in a professional and positive manner
• Build rapport with athletics staff and the broader university community

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 3 years of coaching experience
• Valid driver’s license and ability to qualify for university insurance
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to manage technical aspects of the sport and use sport-specific technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
• Coaching experience at the collegiate level
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
