Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred, 3-5 years collegiate coaching experience, CPR/AED and First Aid Certification, Valid driver's license
About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, organize, and supervise all aspects of the Division III Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs
- Recruit and retain highly qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success
- Implement comprehensive strategies for scheduling practices and competitions, including travel, accommodations, and meals
- Manage operational, fiscal, and administrative responsibilities for the program
- Support the personal, academic development, and health and welfare of student-athletes
- Hire and supervise assistant coaches, including full and part-time positions
- Collaborate with athletic communications, training, and equipment staff to support team needs
- Support fundraising efforts and alumni activities in coordination with the Division of College Advancement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3-5 years of successful collegiate coaching experience, preferably as a head coach
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
- Ability to work effectively within an academically demanding liberal arts environment
- Proficiency with technology applications applicable to the position
