Head Men's Wrestling Coach

Responsibilities

• Coordinate practice sessions, game planning, and individual or small group coaching.
• Lead game day meetings, active coaching, and post-game debriefs.
• Manage recruitment efforts using Teamworks software and collaborate with the admissions office.
• Oversee the academic, moral, ethical, and athletic development of student-athletes.
• Supervise the duties of part-time assistant coaches.
• Adhere to all NCAA, conference, departmental, and institutional guidelines and policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Ability to demonstrate wrestling-related techniques and skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with students, staff, alumni, and supporters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to support practices and games.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree.
• Intercollegiate playing experience.
• Collegiate coaching experience.
