Head Men's & Women's Tennis Coach

Responsibilities

• Oversee all coaching and leadership aspects of the men's and women's tennis programs.
• Plan, develop, and conduct in-season and off-season practices and conditioning sessions.
• Manage recruitment efforts in accordance with university and NAIA rules to maintain rosters of 10-12 student-athletes per sport.
• Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes and enforce team rules.
• Handle administrative duties including budget management, equipment maintenance, and coordination of travel, lodging, and food.
• Coordinate match scheduling and strategy in conjunction with athletic administration.
• Represent the university and athletic department professionally at internal and external functions.
• Demonstrate respect for the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of tennis coaching experience.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including working in various weather conditions and traveling.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Support for the Catholic and Franciscan values of the University.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Three years of collegiate tennis coaching experience.
