Head Men's Golf Coach

Responsibilities

• Oversee all coaching and leadership aspects of the men's golf program, including practice organization, instruction, and match preparation
• Manage recruitment efforts in accordance with university and NAIA rules to maintain a target roster of 12 student-athletes
• Monitor the academic progress of student-athletes and develop team rules to ensure success both on and off the course
• Handle administrative duties including budget management, equipment maintenance, and coordination of travel, lodging, and food
• Plan and conduct all in-season and off-season practices and conditioning sessions
• Represent the athletic department and university professionally at internal and external functions
• Support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university and adhere to the NAIA Champions of Character Coaches Code

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of golf coaching experience
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including working in varying weather conditions and traveling
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the University

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Three years of collegiate golf coaching experience
