Head Men's and Women's Cross Country Coach

Responsibilities

• Coordinate practice and competition planning for both men's and women's cross country programs
• Conduct individual and small group coaching sessions
• Lead competition day meetings, coaching, and post-competition debriefs
• Manage recruitment efforts using Teamworks software and coordinate with the admissions office
• Oversee the academic, moral, ethical, and athletic development of student-athletes
• Adhere to all NCAA, conference, departmental, and institutional guidelines
• Supervise the duties of part-time assistant coaches

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to demonstrate cross-country-related techniques and skills
• Ability to work nights and weekends to support practices, competitions, and recruiting events

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Intercollegiate playing experience
• Collegiate coaching experience
