About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the communications strategy and execution for Canadian Commercial and North American Integrated Solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing strategic professional communications counsel and direction
- Develop and implement communication plans that align with business priorities and company standards
- Create high-quality content for various vehicles, including leadership messages, intranets, town halls, newsletters, and social media
- Lead business change management activities from a communications perspective
- Measure, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of communications initiatives using data-driven insights
- Collaborate across the organization to ensure consistent messaging and influence positive behavior changes
- Manage specialized senior leader communications, including customer/employee correspondence and speaking engagements
- Oversee the planning and execution of corporate events and conferences
Requirements
- 9+ years of relevant experience in corporate communications or a related field
- Post-secondary degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expert writing and editing skills with the ability to distill complex information into simple, compelling stories
- Expert verbal and written communication skills
- Expert analytical and problem-solving skills
- Expert influence and collaboration skills, with experience coaching senior leaders
- Expert data-driven decision-making skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity and navigate complex, interdependent problems
