About the role

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all kitchen quality standards are consistently met and complied with
  • Support the recruitment, training, and development of the kitchen crew
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager with P&L results, including COGS, labor, and operating expenses
  • Adhere to all food safety and WH&S policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Experience in a kitchen or cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
  • Proven experience leading and developing a team
  • Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent professional experience
  • Strong understanding of food safety concerns
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
