About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure all kitchen quality standards are consistently met and complied with
- Support the recruitment, training, and development of the kitchen crew
- Assist the Restaurant Manager with P&L results, including COGS, labor, and operating expenses
- Adhere to all food safety and WH&S policies and procedures
Requirements
- Experience in a kitchen or cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
- Proven experience leading and developing a team
- Certificate in commercial cookery or equivalent professional experience
- Strong understanding of food safety concerns
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
