About the role
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fresh, healthy, and well-presented meals for quarterly all-company meetings and monthly small-group client events
- Support menu planning that is thoughtful, practical, and aligned with the needs of each event
- Execute efficient food preparation, service, and cleanup across buffet and plated-style service
- Maintain a high standard of kitchen cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety practices
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste while ensuring the kitchen is consistently well stocked
- Coordinate food timing, presentation, and flow to contribute to a seamless event experience
- Support light banquet-style setup and service as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent four-year culinary education
- 5-10 years of hands-on culinary experience in a restaurant, professional kitchen, catering, or banquet environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting banquet, catering, or event-based food service
- ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven ability to deliver consistent, high-quality food in event-driven environments
- Strong organizational discipline and ability to manage competing priorities
- Professional presence and communication style appropriate for a corporate environment
