About the role

Responsibilities

  • Produce meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner
  • Prepare hot menu accompaniments
  • Ensure all preparation meets quality standards and is properly documented
  • Record food temperatures in the logbook
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and service areas
  • Manage food storage and rotation
  • Perform monthly inventory and place food orders
  • Ensure all tasks are performed safely and report incidents immediately

Requirements

  • Diploma in hospitality, food service, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of cooking experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Strong leadership and professional attitude
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in workforce accommodation camps or remote settings
  • Experience in natural resources or construction sectors
  • MAPAQ certification (food handler or manager)
