Head Coach - Women's Softball

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the softball program, including practice planning, game preparation, and player development
• Lead the recruitment and retention of student-athletes to build a competitive roster
• Manage program operations, including budget planning, financial oversight, and equipment management
• Coordinate scheduling and travel logistics for the team
• Ensure strict compliance with NCAA, conference, and University rules and regulations
• Monitor and support the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Prior collegiate coaching experience
• Proven experience in student-athlete recruiting
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance requirements
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage budgets and oversee program operations effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
