Head Coach Women's Soccer

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational management for a competitive NCAA Division III women's soccer program.
• Lead recruitment efforts to identify and attract high-potential student-athletes who align with institutional standards.
• Develop and execute comprehensive coaching strategies, including daily practice plans, tactical adjustments, and individualized skill development.
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches and support staff to promote professional development and teamwork.
• Manage program administration, including budget oversight, team travel logistics, equipment inventory, and fundraising.
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress in collaboration with academic advisors to ensure eligibility and success.
• Ensure strict compliance with NCAA, SCIAC, and University policies and regulations.
• Serve as a program ambassador through community engagement, media relations, and alumni outreach.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of collegiate soccer coaching experience, including instruction, administration, and recruiting.
• Demonstrated success leading teams to conference championships or NCAA tournament participation.
• Proven ability to manage program budgets, travel logistics, and equipment oversight.
• Knowledge of NCAA and SCIAC compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sport-specific platforms such as Hudl or Spiideo.
• Ability to travel extensively and work a flexible, non-traditional schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical demonstrations of soccer techniques.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree.
• Previous NCAA Division III coaching experience.
• Previous experience as an NCAA Head Coach.
