About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct all aspects of the Women’s Lacrosse program at the NCAA Division II level
- Recruit high-quality academic students who are competitive student-athletes
- Manage program logistics including scheduling practices, competitive events, and travel requirements
- Oversee the program budget, equipment procurement, and expense reporting
- Train, strengthen, and develop student-athletes in coordination with the Strength and Conditioning Coach
- Monitor and support student-athletes in their academic pursuits and campus living
- Supervise full-time assistant coaches and other program staff or volunteers
- Ensure compliance with all NCAA, NCATA, and Gannon University rules and regulations
- Develop and implement camps, clinics, and alumni engagement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Successful collegiate-level coaching experience
- Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- AED/CPR/First Aid Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Three to five years of collegiate coaching experience
