Head Coach - Women's Basketball

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall organization, development, and administration of a competitive NCAA Division III women's basketball program
• Recruit, retain, and mentor academically and athletically qualified student-athletes
• Plan and conduct practices, training sessions, conditioning programs, and competition preparation
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress and well-being, ensuring access to campus resources
• Coordinate team operations, including scheduling, travel, and facility coordination
• Manage program budgets, fiscal activities, fundraising, and alumni engagement
• Supervise assistant coaches and ensure compliance with NCAA Division III, conference, and University regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 3 years of collegiate basketball coaching experience (Head or Assistant Coach) OR 3 years of High School Head Coaching experience with collegiate playing experience
• Knowledge of NCAA Division III regulations
• Proven ability to recruit talent to an NCAA Division III institution in an urban environment
• Computer literacy and excellent oral/written communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work long hours, including nights and weekends, and lift up to 50 lbs
