Head Coach, Softball

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and organization for all phases of the softball program in compliance with NCAA and GLAIC regulations
• Recruit prospective student-athletes by building relationships with high school, junior college, and club programs
• Plan and provide elite instruction and assessment during team practices and competitions
• Oversee the academic progress, retention, and graduation success of student-athletes
• Manage the annual operating budget, equipment procurement, and team travel logistics
• Manage assistant coaching staff and develop competition schedules

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2-5 years of experience as a coach, participant, or in a related athletic role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and travel for competitions and recruiting

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Head Coach
• College-level recruiting experience
• Coaching experience at the NCAA Division I or Division II level
