Head Coach - Men's & Women's Tennis

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, instruction, and development for both men's and women's tennis student-athletes
• Lead the recruitment of highly qualified student-athletes to the program
• Manage all phases of the DIII tennis programs, including practice planning and meet preparation
• Oversee student-athlete development on and off the court, ensuring academic success and good sportsmanship
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate one graduate assistant coach
• Manage program administration and fulfill a secondary assignment as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Three years of proven success as a coach for a club, high school, or intercollegiate tennis program
• Demonstrated ability to recruit quality student-athletes
• Knowledge of all NCAA and Liberty League rules and regulations pertaining to DIII tennis
• Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, faculty, staff, and alumni
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet University requirements to drive a University vehicle
• A coaching philosophy compatible with the high academic standards of a Liberal Arts University

Preferred Qualifications

• Three years of specific collegiate coaching experience
