Head Coach - Men's Tennis

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all activities related to the training, skill development, and physical conditioning of student-athletes.
• Develop and execute practice plans and match strategies to prepare the team for competition.
• Manage all aspects of recruitment, including evaluating talent, scouting prospective student-athletes, and managing official/unofficial visits.
• Ensure full program compliance with all NCAA rules, regulations, and University bylaws.
• Oversee program administration, including budget management, travel arrangements, and equipment needs.
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress to ensure eligibility and degree advancement.
• Recruit, train, and manage assistant coaching staff.
• Support fundraising, marketing, and community service initiatives to promote the program and University.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience working in a collegiate coaching program.
• Extensive knowledge of tennis.
• Strong understanding of NCAA rules, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability in budget management and fiscal oversight.
• Proficiency with personal computer applications.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Head Coach.
• Division I playing or coaching experience.
