Head Coach-Men's Soccer

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to develop and sustain a competitive Division I Men’s soccer program.
• Plan and lead all training sessions, match preparation, in-game coaching, and player evaluations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract high-caliber student-athletes.
• Monitor the academic progress and welfare of student-athletes in collaboration with academic support personnel.
• Ensure full compliance with all NCAA, conference, and university policies and procedures.
• Hire, supervise, and evaluate assistant coaches and support staff.
• Manage the program budget, including travel, equipment, and recruiting logistics.
• Partner with Athletics Administration to support fundraising and donor engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of collegiate coaching experience, including head coaching or high-level assistant experience.
• Proven recruiting acumen with the ability to identify and evaluate high-level student-athletes.
• Comprehensive understanding of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous head coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level.
• Demonstrated record of competitive success and program-building.
• Experience with fundraising and alumni or community engagement.
• Familiarity with the Northeast Conference (NEC) competitive landscape.
• Master’s degree.
