Upper Crust Food Service proudly serves Sororities and Fraternities, known for freshness, quality, variety, and excellent customer service. We solve the lack of consistency and professionalism in Greek life kitchens by providing fresh, from-scratch meals nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, design, and execute weekly from-scratch menus
- Conduct menu meetings with clients and management
- Oversee and train kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance assessment
- Manage food preparation, presentation, and flavor quality
- Order supplies and manage inventory within budgetary requirements
- Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining room in compliance with safety standards
- Communicate regularly with management via calls, emails, and texts
Requirements
- Proficiency in various cooking methods, cuisines, and equipment
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Ability to handle challenging customers professionally
- Capability to stand for long periods (8+ hours) and lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in professional, high-volume food production or catering
- Culinary degree
- Valid manager-level sanitation certification
