Upper Crust Food Service proudly serves Sororities and Fraternities, known for freshness, quality, variety, and excellent customer service. We solve the lack of consistency and professionalism in Greek life kitchens by providing fresh, healthy, from-scratch meals nationwide.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, design, and execute weekly from-scratch menus
- Conduct menu meetings with clients
- Create high-quality meals with excellent presentation and flavor
- Oversee and train kitchen staff, manage schedules, and assess performance
- Order supplies in accordance with budgetary requirements and stock inventory
- Enforce sanitation and food safety standards per state and local regulations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen and dining room
- Communicate regularly with management via calls, emails, and texts
- Assist in planning and executing special events
Requirements
- Proficiency in various cooking methods, cuisines, and ingredients
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to deal with challenging customers professionally
- Ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours) and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years in professional, high-volume food production or catering
- Culinary degree
- Valid manager-level sanitation certification
