Head Chef

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and excellence
• Develop innovative menus, seasonal specials, and signature dishes
• Maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and portion control
• Train, mentor, and supervise the culinary team to achieve high performance
• Oversee food costing, inventory control, and waste management
• Ensure strict compliance with hygiene, safety, and HACCP standards
• Collaborate with management on menu engineering and operational planning

Requirements

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in a senior culinary role (Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef)
• Proven background in premium or fine-casual dining environments
• Expertise in menu creation, costing, and kitchen management
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency
• Deep understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
