Head Cargo Enablement

Responsibilities

• Lead the divisional transformation portfolio for Etihad Cargo by bridging strategy, operations, and technology.
• Identify and re-engineer inefficient cargo-facing and internal operational processes using digital tools and lean principles.
• Support the Chief of Cargo in executing the 2030 Strategy and delivering the transformation portfolio.
• Own the end-to-end implementation of intelligent automation (IA) to foster business optimization and scalability.
• Develop a roadmap for continuous digital improvement across vendor-operated services and cargo operations.
• Champion agile and design-thinking practices to define and test digital use cases for customer journey flows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to digitalize KPI tracking, quality monitoring, and issue resolution workflows.
• Design and manage a program performance framework to measure portfolio performance and benefit realization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Digital Transformation, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 12 years of experience leading high-impact global initiatives that enhance shipper/forwarder experience and supply chain efficiency.
• Strong understanding of Cargo Management Systems, e-freight standards (eAWB), and digital booking platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver results using agile methodologies and continuous improvement frameworks such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Expertise in mapping the "Shipment Journey" from booking to delivery and implementing digital tools.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and data analysis skills.
• Experience working effectively within cross-functional teams in a global organization.
