Head Baseball Coach

Responsibilities

• Lead the leadership, organization, administration, and supervision of all aspects of the Division III Baseball program
• Recruit and retain highly qualified student-athletes with a commitment to academic success
• Implement a comprehensive strategy for scheduling and organizing practices and competitions, including travel, accommodations, and meals
• Manage operational, fiscal, and administrative responsibilities of the Baseball program
• Demonstrate a high level of involvement in the personal, academic development, and health and welfare of student-athletes
• Support the Division of College Advancement with fundraising efforts and alumni activities
• Work cooperatively with athletic communications, athletic training, and equipment room staffs
• Hire and supervise assistant coaches, including full and part-time positions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of successful collegiate coaching experience
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Previous experience as a head coach
• Proficiency with technology applications applicable to the position
