Head Assistant Men and Women’s Wrestling Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing student-athletes through instructional methods focusing on sport-specific skills, spiritual maturity, physical wellness, and character.
• Serve as a tutor and mentor to support the academic success and retention of both men's and women's wrestling programs.
• Maintain strict compliance with all NCAA, USA Wrestling, and Conference Carolinas rules and regulations.
• Educate student-athletes regarding all compliance-related rules and regulations.
• Oversee the operations of the wrestling programs in the absence of the Assistant Director of Wrestling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited institution (Master's degree preferred).
• At least three years of successful coaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Strong alignment with the Christian faith and the mission of the institution.
• Ability to organize and motivate people while articulating the university's mission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within the NCAA.
