Responsibilities
- Foster an outstanding student experience by facilitating high-quality, student-centred learning activities at the undergraduate level.
- Support learning outcomes through technology-enhanced, problem-oriented, and authentic assessment practices.
- Establish positive, respectful, and supportive relationships between staff and students.
- Promote the research/teaching nexus to enhance student learning experiences.
- Continuously improve teaching practice through professional development and critical reflection.
- Act as a course convenor at the undergraduate level with support from senior academic staff.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Griffith University HDR program post-confirmation.
- At least two trimesters of prior teaching experience.
- Demonstrated ability to teach in the Criminology and Criminal Justice area.
- Proficiency in using Canvas or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Ability to convey complex ideas clearly to a diverse student audience.
- Excellent time management skills to balance teaching with research commitments.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
