HDR Progress and Completions Support Officer

Responsibilities

• Create, process, and manage data using student systems while ensuring data integrity and accuracy
• Coordinate and administer the entire thesis examination process from submission through to award
• Assist in the coordination and administration of candidature milestones
• Provide timely written and oral advice to students and academic staff regarding systems, policies, and procedures
• Troubleshoot and provide assistance to internal and external clients regarding online thesis examination systems
• Support other areas within the Griffith Graduate Research School to meet high workflow demands

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification or an equivalent combination of experience and training
• Demonstrated experience in higher education administration, preferably in higher degree research
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a commitment to high-quality customer service
• Well-developed computer literacy and the ability to adapt to new systems and technologies
