HCM Solution and Integration Architect

Responsibilities

• Own and define end-to-end solution architectures for HR capabilities across the employee lifecycle
• Lead the rationalization of the HR integration landscape to reduce point-to-point complexity
• Define and govern integration patterns, standards, and principles such as API-led and event-based models
• Act as a trusted architecture authority on Workday and other HCM capabilities and constraints
• Provide defensible recommendations to senior HR, Digital, and Architecture stakeholders
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture guardrails, data principles, and regulatory expectations
• Maintain architectural artefacts including capability maps, solution views, and integration diagrams
• Collaborate with HR Product Owners, Enterprise Architecture, Data, Security, and external vendors

Requirements

• 12-14 years of experience in solution and/or integration architecture within complex HR technology landscapes
• Deep hands-on experience with Workday and other HCM tools including Core HR, Talent, and Learning
• Strong grounding in enterprise architecture principles, capability modelling, and platform strategy
• Proven experience simplifying large, fragmented integration landscapes in a global enterprise environment
• Strong understanding of HR data domains and integration patterns for downstream consumers like payroll and analytics

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within global, regulated enterprises with strong governance expectations
• Familiarity with ServiceNow HRSD, IAM/PAM, data platforms, or integration middleware
• Experience operating within a formal architecture governance model
• Ability to balance strategic architectural thinking with pragmatic delivery realities
• Strong systems thinker with a bias for simplification and clarity
