HBM Sr RTL Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RTL for SoC-level blocks and subsystems used in HBM logic die
• Integrate internal and third-party IP including controllers, microcontrollers, NOC, and interfaces
• Collaborate with SoC architects to translate specifications into high-quality RTL implementations
• Participate in SoC-level integration activities involving clocking, reset, and power intent
• Support design verification by debugging simulation, emulation, and formal results
• Work with physical design teams to address synthesis, timing, power, and floorplanning
• Assist with pre-silicon validation and post-silicon bring-up and root-cause analysis
• Contribute to design documentation, block specifications, and design reviews

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital design RTL development
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog/Verilog and SoC integration methodologies
• Experience with the RTL-to-GDS flow, including synthesis and static timing analysis
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, TCL, Perl, or shell scripting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with HBM, DRAM, or memory-centric SoC designs
• Familiarity with high-speed interfaces, clocking strategies, and power management
• Exposure to DFT concepts such as scan, MBIST, and BIRA/BISR
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a related field
