About the role
Responsibilities
- Operate HAUVs for underwater infrastructure inspection using robotic intelligence
- Develop and contribute to concept of operations for autonomous operations
- Prepare field equipment pre and post deployments
- Assist Engineering in investigating and resolving on-site and off-site technical issues
- Assist with electrical and mechanical integration and assembly of parts
- Support rigorous testing for pressure, vibration, EMC-EMI, thermal, and corrosion requirements
- Manage logistics including administrative documentation and parts collection/delivery
Requirements
- Technical certificate of competence (NITEC/Diploma)
- Practical hands-on experience
- Ability to travel to remote sites, vessels, and offshore platforms
- Willingness to work at nearshore and offshore operational sites and sea trials
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated interest in autonomous intelligent machines or robotics
- Driver's license
- Skipper, Steersman, or Helmsman license
