Haul Truck Driver/Rental Tech

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and perform complex repairs on pumps, hydraulics, engines, transmissions, HVAC, and electrical issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as scheduled
• Complete work orders and maintain daily truck inspection logs
• Safely load and off-load heavy equipment using ratchet straps, chains, binders, and winches
• Coordinate with dispatchers and customers for delivery and pickup locations
• Maintain daily records of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Requirements

• Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs
• Ability to maneuver around and crawl under equipment
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-3 years of heavy equipment troubleshooting and repair experience
• Technical Certifications or Associate’s Degree
• Experience with Diesel Engines, Hydraulics, or Advanced Electronics
• Class A CDL and Valid Medical Card
• Certification on Aerial and Forklift handling/operation
• Full DOT knowledge regarding hours of service and ELOG
• Ability to furnish own tools for heavy equipment repair
