Haul Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Safely load and off-load heavy equipment
• Properly secure loads using ratchet straps, chains, binders, and winches
• Maintain daily records of pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and accurate log books
• Legibly complete equipment inspection reports upon delivery and pickup
• Coordinate with dispatchers and customers to verify delivery and pickup locations
• Utilize safe driving techniques and effective time management for deliveries

Requirements

• Class A CDL and a valid Medical Card
• Certification in Aerial and Forklift handling/operation
• Full DOT knowledge regarding hours of service, ELOG, and legal limits
• Clean driving record and ability to be insured
• Ability to maintain and service haul trucks and trailers
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and maneuver around/under equipment
• Ability to work in hot or cold environments
